I just launched a new Web site not too long ago. One of the annoyances of setting up a new Web site is checking all the links to make sure they all go somewhere. This Firefox extension takes all that hard work out of the equation. LinkChecker does just what the name implies; it checks links.

For those folks out there that are looking for another way to flip between browsers, I introduce you to Optool. I found this tool via Chris, and I do have to say for coming in such a small package (112 KB to be exact) it packs a lot of punch. You can switch between Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Opera by default.
You can plug your own browser into the mix, if it isn’t one of the big three. It is yet another good way to do a little quick browser switching.

So thanks to Microsoft people can download all that IM, media playing, and alternative browsers such as Firefox? John Carroll talking about his frustrations with Antitrust lead Asa Dotzler to fight back with this:
John, your company broke the law. Microsoft was managed by lawbreakers and thugs who strong-armed OEMs that were already shipping a superior browser to millions and millions of users. Microsoft cheated. There is no honor in that, and even less in your sad attempt at defending it.

I haven’t really understood or liked a lot of the games that have been built in as extensions for Firefox. For those folks out there who actually like to break out into a random game or two, there is Froggr.
Froggr is a clone of the classic Frogger game. The thing that is different here is they took the last vowel out of the name, which makes it ten times more fun.

This is one Firefox extension that I can’t belive I haven’t talked about before. For the five people who don’t know about Greasemonkey, I’ll try to be informative and cover all the bases. The best way to sum it up is that Greasemonkey delivers you tiny extensions inside an extension.
