The VideoDownloader Firefox extension has been getting a lot of buzz lately, so I thought I would look at an alternative way of downloading media content via your favorite Web site. The UnPlug Firefox extension scans web pages and tells you where things like media players and other embedded objects are getting their data from, and displays it as a simple hyperlink.
UnPlug - Video Download Tool

This extension is definetly better than videodownloader.
you can place the icon on your toolbar and not have to have it at the bottom like downloader makes you do.
also the screen to select the link to save is much neater. and the green fish icon looks good.
works perfectly on you tube, have’nt really tried it anywhere else.

what I use to download FLV videos is, obviously (cause I’m the developer), Ook? Video Ook!. Just one click and it’s done.
