Yes, they are back and more “macish” than ever! The attack is on, and I have a few more Firefox themes that look like they came from the land of Apple computers. Once again, none of these are my number one favorite. However, they are better than the ifox themes.
Firefox Toolbar Tutorial
This tutorial is by far the best one out there today at teaching you how to create a toolbar extension in Firefox. It provides an easy to understand “big picture” of how extensions are developed, the tools required to create an extension, and details on how toolbars are created. Even if you have never done this sort of thing before, I can promise you that you’ll “get it”.
Attack of the Mac Themes
There are way too many Firefox themes out there that have that “mac” look or “mac” name. Now when looking for a Firefox theme that delivers a new look, this isn’t always the best thing to find. Since there are so many “macish” themes out there though, I figured I would point out a few of the better ones.
Mouse-less Firefox
Be a man, toss out the mouse! Lifehacker has a nice guide when it comes to learning all the Firefox keyboard shortcuts. From the toolbar to the searching and all the way to opening Web pages, just about everything is covered. They even have a grab bag of random helpful keyboard shortcuts that will cut your browsing time down.
Google Calendar Notifier
Everybody has tried out the new Google Calender by now, right? If you haven’t, it is pretty neat. I wouldn’t say it is going to change my life, but it does do a good job at managing it. Now that we have this great tool, we need a way to get notified from it. Google Calendar Notifier does just that.
The Google Calendar Notifier Firefox extension lets you know when dates on the calander are coming up.
Firefox Extensions for Power Surfers
Quick Online Tips has a great list of Firefox extensions for “power surfers”. I don’t know if you would want to install all 50 of them, but they are worth giving a look to. There are lots of different Firefox extensions out there today. Did your favorite make it to the list?

Firefoxies – Model Search
Ever wanted to known to the public for the love of your browser? Over at Firefoxies, they are trying to find a spokesmodel. The submission that gets the most votes will win the spot, pretty easy right? Here is what to do.
1. Send them a photo (less than 2 megs). It would be great if it had something to do with a computer or using Firefox. (download Firefox – it’s free)
2. Include a nickname
3. A quick blurb on why you use Firefox (optional)
4. Check out the site www.firefoxies.com in a few days and have your friend vote for you!
5. They will post your picture for voting within the next few days. The site will be up and live with a potential for a lot of traffic. Get seen!
This should be interesting to watch over the next few weeks.
