Want a Smart Cursor?

The smart-cursor Firefox extension does one simple job, and it does it well. It changes your cursor’s appearance depending on what type of link it is hovering over. If it is an E-mail link, then you see an envelope. If it is javascript, then you will see a little scroll. If it is going to give you a pop up, then you see a little miniature browser. This is a good start to a great idea.

Another alternative is the target alert extension at http://www.bolinfest.com/targetalert/index.html . It can detect more types of links, even thought it doesn’t work all the time for me.

Thank you for your informative posts, I check your blog everyday to see it and I can say that I have learnt quite useful stuff.
