Have one of those old “classic” operating systems lying around?
Despite installer issues, Firefox actually does work well when running under Windows 95, which is good news for people still running an operating system that Microsoft no longer supports.

I was running Firefox in W98 for a few months, in a “classic” (and “ramless”) PC. It’s terrible, I don’t recommend the experience… :)
Considering what a memory hog Fx is, I can imagine how it runs on a machine that’s likely to have 95 installed — or 98, for that matter. I have trouble with XP and 512 MB of RAM sometimes.
I’ll pass on the legacy stuff.
