This afternoon I have been playing around with Firefox search plugins again. Since I have everything finalized as far as server moves and domain name changes go, I wanted to update the ones I created a few months back.

BrowseAtWork
Need to do some browsing at work or school? This extension allows you to open the current page, or a link on the current Web page, anonymously with BrowseAtWork.com by adding a shortcut to the context menu. This is ideal for viewing webpages blocked by many corporate or school filters.
URL Fixer
URL Fixer corrects typos in URLs that you enter in the address bar. For example, if you type google.con, it will correct it to google.com (asking first, if you enable confirmation). This extension should help those of us who have a hard time finding the right keyboard keys every once in a while.
Addictive Typing Lessons
Not everybody that has a computer is a good typer. I remember, I used to type like an untrained monkey when I got my first personal computer. After time, I learned and now I type faster than I can write. How can you speed the process along for yourself? Try out the Addictive Typing Lessons extension for Firefox.
URL Shortener
Here is yet another Firefox extension that will give you a shorter URL for those long links you navigate to. For example, let us say you were looking at a Web page that was a few folders deep into the Web site. Now instead of having to copy that big long URL, you can now put it through URL Shortener and get something a little easier to handle.

NewTabURL
This is a handy extension to have. The NewTabURL Firefox extension allows you to set how your new tabs open. You can have it open the home page of the browser, a blank Web page or a copy of the current Web page you are viewing. Other extensions out there do this and more, but if you just want this feature and nothing else.. well, here you go!
