The folks over at CyberNet News have posted side by side comparisons of the even newer new theme that will be used for Firefox 2.0. The only problem I have is I can’t see the difference between the themes! Is Mozilla trying to pull a fast one on us?

The comparison was between two nightly builds but there are significant improvements if you look at the current version of the theme compared to the version that was released in Firefox 2 Beta 2.
Since the release of Beta 2 they have implemented a new refresh button, home button, added a hovering state to the navigation bar buttons, and changed the look of the tabs. The new tabs are a huge improvement over Beta 2.
Alright, that’s good to hear. I just figured I was going a little crazy. :)
