Google Reader Notifier

I think I may have found one of my new favorite extensions for Firefox. I use and I love the Google Reader. It handles all my RSS feeds well, and thanks to it I never miss a beat. This firefox extension shows you how many unread items you have in your Google Reader account.

If you use the Google Reader a lot, this is a priceless pleasure to have in your browser.

Stay Away From Dangerous Content

We all like to stay clear of things that might be bad for us Online. McAfee’s SiteAdvisor has done a great job in filtering the Web and letting us know what is safe and what might not be so safe. Is there an alternative out there though? Yes there is, and the name of it is WOT.

Easier Photo Management

If there is anything that I enjoy it is having a tool that makes my life just a little easier. Just like anybody else out there I love my Flickr account. I do wish I had a better way of managing and uploading my photos though. Well look no further, FotoFox looks like it is trying hard to become my new best friend.

FotoFox allows you to easily select, tag, title and upload pictures from your computer to an online photo album. Works with Flickr, Tabblo, 23hq, Smugmug, and Marela. It is still a young extension - and has plenty of room to grow. I do have to say though that it has one heck of a nice head start.

Organize Your Tools Menu

After installing a dozen or so extensions, you menus inside of Firefox might start to look a little cluttered. How can you fix this problem? You can either start getting rid of extensions, or you can add one more. Personally I love all my extensions equally - so I am going to pick the second choice and get the Tools Menu Organizer. This will at least help you get the tools menu under control.

Cache View

Having a problem viewing a Web page that is not there anymore? Maybe it got popular and now it is a little hard to pull it up. Well, that is why cache was created - you silly little person. Now with the extension Cache View you can make good use out of it.

Displays Google’s Cache, Coral’s Cache, Wayback Machine’s Cache, Dot Cache, Tech Guru’s Cache, and Cachebin’s cache of the current tab open via right-click or Tools menu. This was made so that if the site is down in any way, especially the Digg effect and Slashdot effect, you can hopefully view it.
