Customizing Firefox Tips

I have an handful of Firefox tips that have to do with customizing the browser. A few people have E-mailed me these in, so there are too many to thank right now. So let’s cut through the introductions and get right into the good stuff.

Here’s my tip:

Use Form Saver to create bookmarklets that fill your forms in for you: http://www.botsko.net/Welcome/firefox/

Doesn’t work on all sites, like eBay Australia, but works on most. I put all my ’saved form bookmarklets’ in my Bookmarks Toolbar. I save heaps of time with this extension.

Mitch, thanks so much for the link about how to fix the Quick Find feature in FF2. It’s so much better now. I don’t know why it isn’t like that by default.

You’ve just made life easier for me. :)
