I tried wizz and whilst I agree its more comprehensive than sage, personally I found the interface clumsy. Perhaps its just what you get used to.

There is also another new reader on the block called Brief:

<a href="http://brief.mozdev.org/" rel="nofollow">Homepage</a>

Wizz RSS News Reader has moved to http://www.wizzrss.com/WizzRss.php.

Strange that someone who seems to know something about Firefox extensions would list under "Best News Reading Extensions" NewsFox and Sage?

NewsFox, in my opinion, is weak and buggy, while Sage rests on laurels it earned more than a year ago. Sage also enjoys favor by those who run the AMO site. I really have no idea why Sage is still on the recommended extensions list while there are a number of better news reading extensions.

If you really are interested in finding the best news reader extension for Firefox, try Wizz RSS News Reader. It is well supported and it's constantly being upgraded with new features.

I'm a Wizz fan, too. I found RSS readers just too much until I tried this sidebar reader - I'd recommend it for beginners.
