Turn Firefox into a Screensaver

How many times have you said to yourself, “I really wish Firefox was a screensaver too!”. Come on, tell me – I won’t tell anybody else. Well ok, I haven’t ever wondered that myself but just in case you ever have, there is now a solution to use. Tryout the FoxSaver extension for Firefox.

Here’s a link to the offical web site for more information:

Overall I’d say this is a neat idea for a Firefox addon, but not sure if it is useful just yet. They do have a big selection of neat photos – but i would really like to add my own – or have it pick up on my Flickr account (or insert your favorite photo host here.) Do you think this extension shows promise too?

    Thanks for blogging about FoxSaver.

FoxSaver can show your pictures on your local hard disk, and you will be able to use RSS pretty soon.

    Tahnks!

I think if it could just pick on the whole “Media RSS” front that would do a lot for its success. :)

This is actually a pretty cool idea, and I think the RSS will be a nice addition to the extension. Nice find Mitch!

    FoxSaver 2.0 has RSS now!

Right now you can use Flickr pictures as your screensaver.

I assumed it was going to be some incredibly dull old document, but it truly compensated for my time. I am going to post a link to this web page on my blog. I am convinced my readers will find that pretty valuable.
