Ad Free RSS Feed for Firefox Facts

I have decided to remove the FeedBurner ads from the Firefox Facts RSS feed. In all honesty it just wasn’t really returning enough of the green stuff to be worth it to me - and if it means I can get a few more subscribers and visitors to FirefoxFacts.com, then ditching them is well worth it.

So might be time to pass this URL to all your friends, amigos and buddies:

http://feeds.feedburner.com/firefoxfacts

Now ad free but still full of goodies!

Where did you turn this off? I have this feed that I don’t actually want to display ads on but apparently it does and I can’t turn it off. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Login to your feed, go to Monetize and then deactivate it there.

Ah, I feared it would be under monetize…

FeedBurner Ad Network (FAN) wants you to join us as soon as you are ready! Participation in FAN is by invitation, based on a variety of variables such as how long FeedBurner has managed your feed, your subscribership size and consistency, and frequency of content publication. If your feed is well-subscribed and covers a topic that is of interest to advertisers, we’ll be in touch with you about joining the ad network.

Ah well, then I’ll deal with ads *sigh*

The ad revenue from feedburner ads really is pathetic.

Yeah, it’s not like I’m giving up a massive fortune, maybe just one fancy cup of coffee a month. ;)

I just subscribed so I missed the ads, but you could do more with monetizing his site if that’s what you’re looking for. :)
