Firesizer - Resize Firefox to Your Liking

FiresizerResizing your browser window. This isn’t just something that web designers need - I think we all move our windows around the screen from time to time. Sometimes, just to let you in on a little secret… I do it just for the fun of it.

Firesizer is an extension for Firefox that will let you pre-set a series of browser sizes so you can quickly jump from one to the other. Here is a little more information about the extention:

Provides a menu and status bar to resize the window dimensions to a specific size. Unlike other similar extensions, this one sets the size of the *entire window*, not just the HTML area.

Nobody is going to claim this extension is reinventing the wheel, but it is a small extension that does what it sets out to do. As long as you can get that much done, your alright in my book.

As far as I can see, this extension (like all the others that I have tested) cannot actually make the browser window larger than whatever screen size your Windows runs on.

I’m not even sure if it is technically possible, but if it is, do you know of any extension that might do it?

Web Developer extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/60/) has this feature as well.

After installing this, newly opened windows are totally mal-sized and could not be resized with the mouse anymore. Also the image resizing function of Mozilla did not work anymore. I can not recommend it.

Hello,
I am the author of this extension, and would like to respond. The limit of keeping the window size within the limit of the current screen resolution appears to be a limit set by firefox itself. The extension does no checking of this and will try to resize to whatever dimensions you tell it to.

As for opening malformed windows/not resizable, I suspect you are seeing interactions with other extensions that are doing funny things. This extension is very simple and could not cause the issues you are seeing.
