Light is a word of many meanings.  It could be the lightest in color or the lightest in its impact on the interface of your browser.  I have done my best to find the lightest popular Firefox 3 themes that

  I am liking Firefox 3. Having some issues with the Conduit Bar and the gadgets are not loading. Reallyyyyyy waiting for the themes. For a default...not bad.......but really need to personalize it for ME!

  No, they will not have to start from scratch, but Firefox 3 contains quite a few changes to the base theme so there are quite a few things theme designers need to do to update their themes for Firefox 3.
  
  The final release of 3 will probably not be out until june though and still changes to the default UI are being made so ...
