Feedback Needed, How Many Posts?

I’ve got a quick question for all the wonderful Firefox Facts fans out there. In a dream world, where you got everything you ever wanted – how many posts a day would you like to see here on FirefoxFacts.com? Leave a comment and take our poll to let me know your thoughts.

Also if you have any other feedback to share, feel free to pass it to me here too in comment form. Always love to hear all of it, good, bad and Internet Explorer.. umm I mean ugly.

  • Thank you all for the voting and comments thus far. This really does help me out a lot here. :)
  • Well I love the blog so I said 3-5. Like the rest, I don't want to lose on the high quality, but since there are so many excellent add-ons and themes and stuff for firefox that you can find and review I really think it comes down to how many posts you can do in a week.

Keep up the good work though, whatever you decide to do.

I'd rather have relevant content, than a lot of fluff.

Here's my thought - although I selected three to five - I like that we get one post that I can take the time to read and 'check out' - too many posts means that I don't get time to enjoy the one.

And yet (*chuckle*) I like being able to see if there are more throughout the day - sort of like I do with Lifehacker.

I leave the tab open and when I have a second to 'browse for updates' - I recycle the tabs - and check to see if there is anything new.

Bob, Andrew KenBW2, and Roger all make excellent points - it would be sad to see you shove stuff in to provide content and lose the quality - just to make a quota.

I've just read three comments that all say the same as what I'm thinking - keep the posts to a minimum, but with high quality content.

I used to subscribe to another newsletter that eventually turned into a marketing outlet. Please don't do that.
  • I was hoping for a "up to 1" option. You can't control how many posts you make. If there's something newsworthy then post it!
  • I don't know about others, but I hate when a good blog goes bad by overloading the content. Keep it trim and have good quality content and your "one to two" posts will be memorable and anticipated by the readers.

as many as are relevant. The minute you start posting fluff for the sake of posting something is the minute I lose interest.
