Best 5 Firefox 3 Theme Alternatives

Already tired of the default Firefox 3 theme?  Here are 5 of the best of the best when it comes to changing up the look and feel of Mozilla’s latest web browsing creation.  If you find any other good ones leave a comment and let us know.

I have been using Silvermel since RC2 of Firefox 3 and it is still possibly my top favorite when it comes to Firefox 3 theme alternatives.

Phoenity Reborn

Continuing the “phoenity” line of themes, this newest “reborn” creation has a well deserved spot on this list too.

Classic Compact

I know there are always minimalistic fans out there, so couldn’t leave them out.  Classic Compact is the best little theme you’ll ever get.

CrystalFox Modern

Updated for Firefox 3, CrystalFox is another favorite old theme that has made the jump to the newest version of Firefox.

Want to mix the old with the new?  This theme mixes the best from the Strata theme and Winstripe to make one heck of a nice combonation.

    Can anyone make the StrataStripe theme using Firefox 2 icons?

    I am talking about Toolbar icons, such as the Back, Forward button, Stop, Refresh, Home, New Tab, New Window, Download, History, Bookmark and Print buttons.

    Can anyone use Firefox 2 icons for that?

    Is there anyway to get the standard Firefox 3 theme for XP in black instead of the boring standard gray?? I really like the buttons as they are all I want to do is change the gray.

    i do not like them.
    glowy green was my favorite,and i’m sad, that it is not compatible with firefox 3.
    please if you can make compatible the glowy family to firefox.

    I am sad too because I loved the Glowy Wine. It was my all time favorite. I really loved all the Glowy Themes. I haven’t found any theme I am happy with yet in this 3.0 version. Though I love firefox! Please can anyone help? These themes are so ugly…

    firefoz3 is so presumptuous
    their theme is so dark and boring
    I am a senior and cant see the dummb toolbar letters too well
    I have been up since 5 am trying to deal with it- why cant i alter the colors etc
    grrrrr
