Hi Deb, try restoring your bookmarks from within the bookmark manager instead of that option that comes up when you install. Go to Bookmarks, then Organize Bookmarks, then Import and Backup. Hope that helps!

I was running Firefox 2.0 on a Windows machine and exported the Bookmarks file; then attempted to import it into Firefox 3.0 Bookmarks manager. However, the only Import Settings and Data option I get is Safari (not IE or File, as the documentation suggests should be available). Thoughts on how I can get my bookmarks moved between computers and versions of Firefox?

some of my addons isn't compatible with FF3 :((

anybody knows any similar extension like:

all-in-one sidebar: give sidebar in FF like opera so we can access our bookmark, download, addons, history, etc on our sidebar.

fasterfox: make FF more faster

FEBE: backup our addons, bookmark, history, etc. good if our FF need to be reinstalled

Sort Tabs By... : Allow to sort tabs by criteria and separate the different tabs.

This is really good advice, too bad I didn't have it a couple of months ago when I first tested FF3 on my system. Although being an IT professional, I probably wouldn't have backed them up even if I did know!
