Want to dress Firefox up to look like Google Chrome?
It is ok to look at other browser’s themes from time to time. That doesn’t mean your a cheater, it just means you like looking at new things every once in a while. Chromiefox is a coat of “chrome” for Firefox. Available for Windows, Linux and Mac OSX, this theme will bring you the look and feel of Chrome without having to switch browsers to get your fix.
Here are the other flavors of Chromiefox to check out, based on the OS you use:
As a word of warning, the author of the theme does say there are some compatibility issues with some third party add-ons. So that maybe something to keep in mind.
What about having your tabs on the very top of the browser like Google Chrome? You can get this desired effect via Userstyles.org (must also have the Stylish add-on installed). To pick up the experimental hack, go visit: http://userstyles.org/styles/10470 .

I like it a lot. I wish they would have done more of a mashup between the two though. I miss not having the back and forward mixed together. Maybe for version two?
Love the tabs hack! It could only be better if the tab bar didn’t have to always show. :) Great find!
i keep learning about more and more little advantages and quirks with Chrome, with speed, for example; now if only they would take care of it’s cookie management glitches…
Chrome Package 0.2.1 is the best theme if you are going for the complete chrome look for firefox. it includes an extension that puts the tabs on top without have stylish installed. the minimize, resize, and close buttons on top look exactly like chrome. I would highly recommend this theme
Interesting, FF users want Chrome look, and Chrome users want FF look. I think Chrome will win out in the end. Already grabbing points from IE and FF users.
Here’s a modification of the dropmarkers [little arrows] on the chome theme. Just found it recently
