Open Plain Text URLs as Links

Open Text LinksThere is nothing more annoying than finding a link to a page you want to navigate to and you can’t just click it to get there.  Call it shotty webmastering or bad design, but it does happen.  However, there is a Firefox add-on that will save the day and it’s name is Text Link.

The meat and potatoes behind this Firefox extension are pretty simple.  Once installed, you can double-click on any unlinked URL – then Firefox loads it up in the browser.  You no longer need to copy and paste the website URL into the address bar or do anything else to get to that unlinked address.  You just double click it.

So now, right from within Firefox you can fix somebody else’s bad website coding with one simple add-on.  You can pick up Text link at the Firefox Add-ons website.
