Want to set the maximum number of tabs Firefox can open? I am sure there is a good reason for doing this, because somebody has built and extension for it in Firefox. Max Tabs will set a maximum number of open tabs in a window.
Here is a little more about Max Tabs from the developer:
Max Tabs is a simple extension that does these:
- Set a maximum number of tabs opened in a window.
- Control and restrict oneself from opening too many tabs.
- Prevent tabs from overloading and overflowing the tab bar.
By default, it’s set to maximum 10 tabs per window, configurable via the extension Options.
If nothing else, this add-on for Firefox solves a very simple Firefox problem, is easy to configure and that is about it. If you want to give it a shot, you can download Max Tabs from the Firefox add-ons website.
