Finding yourself making a lot of typos when it comes to typing in certain domain names? How many times have you tried to go to google.con, for example? URL Fixer is a great restartless add-on for Firefox that fixes common typos in URLs that you input into the address (or awesome) bar of Firefox.
Here is a little more about this add-on from the developers:
This version will correct common misspellings of .com, .net, .org, .edu, .gov, .mil, and all other mainstream TLDs, as well as the protocol (http:, https:). By right-clicking on the address bar, you can set it to auto-correct your errors, or you can have it ask you before making any corrections.
You can specify your own set of custom corrections. Add or remove your own corrections in URL Fixer’s options dialog, accessible via Tools » Add-ons » URL Fixer » Preferences. In all this is a lightweight add-on that I think a lot of people out there can really use.
Want to try URL Fixer out? You can download it from the Firefox Add-ons website.
