Display the Firefox Menu

Firefox Button MenuMiss the menu toolbar? Personally, I like that Firefox dumped all that information in and under the Firefox button, however I could see where some people might want it back.  Thankfully, Mozilla has made adding it back a fairly simple process.

What you will want to do is right-click on an empty area of the tab bar, and then check “Menu Bar” in the pop-up menu.  To turn it off, you simple need to follow those steps in reverse. You can also use these steps to see or not see the bookmarks toolbar, the navigation toolbar or the add-ons toolbar.

This could come in handy if you have small children on your computer who might have accidentally turned one of these toolbars on or off by mistake too.

Hope that help! Which do you prefer – the Firefox button or the Firefox menu bar?

I’m using “Personal Titlebar” which puts the menu bar into the title bar right next to the Firefox button. Saving space AND still able to use the menu as it was in ancient Firefox versions. :-)

I use the menu bar. I also move every thing off the navigation bar and put that on the menu bar. Then I hide the navigation bar.

I also have two lines for my bookmark bar.
