WorldIP ReviewNeed an add-on for Firefox that will help you ping, traceroute and more? While most competitors only check domain name owners registered location and/or what ISP the IP is registered at, WorldIP actually shows the physical location the websites are served from by means of AS number, which is actually used for routing traffic around the net. While it doesn’t always have the answer or correct information, corrections can be submitted by any user, anonymously or with OpenID.

Here are some of the features of WorldIP:

  • Real country, flag
  • All IP addresses of the server (IPv4 and IPv6)
  • Data center, provider, city
  • Autonomous System (AS) of the nerwork
  • Reverse DNS

  • Ping and traceroute from your computer
  • Links to Looking Glasses of 43 global providers*. By provider name or by country/city
