When it comes to Firefox themes, the Qute theme is one of my favorites. Now it looks like somebody has taken this original design and smacked it with some blue here and there. Instead of the multi-colored interface, now everything has a blue tint to it. It is still simple and nice – it is just feeling a little blue now.

Come on, tis the season man! You know you have been searching far and wide for a holiday related Firefox theme. You might be a little embarrassed about it, but have no fear. There is nothing wrong with getting in the holiday spirit.
Tinseltown is a Christmas theme with holiday imagery including Christmas lights, snow, reindeer, presents and more. This theme is made eve better with great Christmas icons from Watiworks and a semi-transparent URL bar. Get in the holiday spirit with Tinseltown.
Winning my personal award for the best looking holiday Firefox theme is Tinseltown.
The folks over at Download.com have posted a pretty nice round up of the best themes out there for Firefox. Did they miss your favorite? Let me know!
Our first Firefox theme gallery offered new ways for surfing the Web with Firefox 1.5, but not all of those themes came along with the recent upgrade to Firefox 2. We’ve dug deep to find the best and the brightest themes for the new version of the open-source browser. A few are repeat performers, while others are fresh looks for enhancing your daily Web surfing. If you don’t have Firefox, download it now.
Here is another theme ready for Firefox 2! Planet Mir looks more like the traditional Firefox 1.5 theme, but it has a few new quirks and styles that makes it fit in perfectly with the new Firefox 2 features. If the goal of the theme was to go for a cleaner, crisper looking theme than the default theme for Firefox – I think they did it.
Update! Looks like I goofed, because Planet Mir isn’t exactly ready for Firefox 2 just yet. Hopefully it will be soon though, because it is a great minimalistic theme!
Here is another good theme that has been made for the Firefox 2 general layout. The designer of this theme describes it as a Clean modern theme for Firefox 2. A nice alternative to the default theme since the colors are lighter and easier on the eyes. I don’t know about you, but I think I will have to agree with them on this one.
No, this isn’t the name of some low budget action film, this is one of the coolest new themes that right now only works with Firefox 2. Here is a little more of a description from the folks who created it.
ShadowThunder’s personal touches onto a combination of la crème de la crème (the best of the best). Pretty and pleasant icons on a cool, blue background designed to be soft on the eyes.
This is a nice sample of what is to come with new and updated Firefox themes.
So you don’t like the new Firefox theme? Personally, I think it is alright – but I really don’t care that much as long as it still works. There are some out there that enjoy the old theme more, so this is perfect for them.
This theme is made for everyone who doesn’t like the new default theme of Firefox 2.0. It is not meant to revert all GUI changes in FF2.0, but rather to change the icons back and to remove skinned stuff so that the default OS look is used whenever possible.
Need a new Firefox theme? The Modern Pinball theme is one that I really like because it does not try to distract me too much. Some themes are so active it is hard to focus on the Web site I am looking at. Modern Pinball keeps things pretty without demanding my attention.
The Modern Pinball theme is designed to please the eye without being distracting, and to be usable without wasting screen real estate. It provides a consistent modern look across operating systems, including MacOS, Linux and Windows.
It is never too early to start celebrating Halloween. Heck, most of the Wal-marts out there already probably have Christmas stuff out by now. How can you bring a little wicked Halloween cheer to your browser?
I looks like a lot of people either love or love to hate the new Firefox 2 Beta 2 theme. I wouldn’t say that I hate it, but I think I like the older one better. Well, if you have something to say about it, Asa Dotzler wants to hear from you.
I’m reading a wide variety of opinions on the latest iteration of the Firefox theme. Some people really like it; others, not so much. I haven’t had the time to look for opinions outside of the regular watering holes, but so far it looks like the nos are outnumbering the yeas. What’s your take on the beta 2 theme?
