Aluminium Kai 2 Theme for Firefox

Aluminium Kai 2Now the whole Aluminium Kai theme was never one that I really liked much. Personally I would take a simple and clean layout over one like this any day. There has to be people out there that like it though, because I keep seeing it mentioned all over the place.

Now I guess it is not all that bad. If you are going to force me to say something nice about it, I like the color green? Yeah, that is all I got.

Whitehart

WhitehartWhen you want a simple, small and to the point Firefox theme – you want Whitehart. Now from the name it reminds me of some brave knight that would go slay a dragon or two. Well, I guess you could think of this theme as a knight slaying the big bad Internet if you wish. The simple – yet elegant appearance makes this theme perfect for any minimalist out there.

Macfox II Graphite

Macfox II GraphiteOut of all the “macfox” themes, the Macfox II Graphite theme might be my favorite. It does not hit you over the head with an apple. It instead is a little more sneaky when it comes to changing the way your browser looks. The only thing I do not like about these Apple clone themes is that they get rid of the favicons. Now I rely on having my favicons in place, so I can’t use this theme. Maybe you can though!

Looks Familiar

Looks FamiliarNow I know I have seen these icons somewhere before – where was it? Oh yeah, it was that ugly monster that Microsoft called Internet Explorer 6. Now maybe you have a friend that was really in love with the IE6 interface. What are you to do when you want them to use Firefox instead? Give them the Looks Familiar theme because, well… it looks familiar to them!

MidnightFox

MidnightFoxNot all themes are created equal. One guy that makes his themes a little different than all the rest is TwisterMc. I don’t know how he does it, but it seems like every time he produces a new theme it looks better than the last. If you are a fan of dark (and I mean really dark) themes, MidnightFox is the Firefox theme for you. It really sets itself apart from the pack.

Darker Default Firefox Theme

Cylence ThemeThe Cylence Theme might look a little familer to you. It is the new default Firefox 2 theme, but with a darker edge to it. Personally, I have not found that many good looking themes when it comes to Firefox 2 – so finding a different “flavor” of the default is a nice thing to see. It delivers you all the form and functionality of the default theme – and has a metallic look to it.

BlueQute

BlueQuteWhen it comes to Firefox themes, the Qute theme is one of my favorites. Now it looks like somebody has taken this original design and smacked it with some blue here and there. Instead of the multi-colored interface, now everything has a blue tint to it. It is still simple and nice – it is just feeling a little blue now.
