It has been a while since I changed my Firefox theme. I have been using Mostly Crystal most of the time these days, but I thought I would look around and see if I could find a different one I liked. That is when I decided to take a trip to Planet Mir and I do have to say I like what I see. This theme is different and cute. A real clean interface, and with time it might be one of the number one choices out there.
It has been a while since a Firefox theme shot out at me with some originality. iPox is a Mozilla Firefox theme loosely based off an iPod and Apple GUI. Now I know what you are going to say, “Yeah, so is every other theme that comes out for Firefox!” but I promise, you should give this one a shot. This theme doesn’t slap you in the face with the common Apple look. Instead it really does something different, as far as Apple inspired themes go.
Do you enjoy the theme of Flock, but don’t want to give up on your traditional Firefox browser just yet? If you find yourself in that camp, then you need Flofox Revisited. I do have to admit, that Flock’s default skin is pretty nice looking. Personally, I just didn’t ever get that into Flock as a dedicated browser though. So you know what? This theme is perfect for me.
With all the different Firefox themes out there, some of them have a hard time getting noticed. Today I have picked out three of my favorite runts of the litter to see if (with my help) they can get a little more fame and glory. All three are great and they all offer something unique.
If you have ever tried the Mostly Crystal Firefox theme, you know it is a work of art. I love it.
Did you know though, that There have been some extra tweaks and tips added to it? To unlock some of these hidden jewels, you’ll have to go check out CatThief’s Web site. There you will find lots of ways to make this great theme even better.
Ever felt the need to change Mozilla, Firefox or ThunderBird’s window icon? You can make your browser just a little more different if you head over to the Firefox and Mozilla Icon Packs Web page. There you will find dozens of beautiful icon packs you can install.
Some people like for programs to look pretty. For those people (who like Firefox as well) there is CuteMenus. CuteMenus adds an icon next to just about every option and menu inside of Firefox. There is no extra functionality here. This extension just makes Firefox look better.
Yes, they are back and more “macish” than ever! The attack is on, and I have a few more Firefox themes that look like they came from the land of Apple computers. Once again, none of these are my number one favorite. However, they are better than the ifox themes.
There are way too many Firefox themes out there that have that “mac” look or “mac” name. Now when looking for a Firefox theme that delivers a new look, this isn’t always the best thing to find. Since there are so many “macish” themes out there though, I figured I would point out a few of the better ones.
Want a theme that is light, small and easy on the eyes? Breeze is the Firefox theme for you then. It leaves less room for pretty icons, and more room for browsing the Web. I’ve been using it for a while, and I have to say it is one of the better minimalistic themes out there today. [View Screenshots]
