Thought I’d try something a little different this Friday morning. Rather than show you some great Personas for Firefox, I am going to tell you where you can get a lot of great Personas by the same designer. Today, I’m looking at MaDonna’s work. A lot of the Personas she has designed are a little girly in nature – but there is nothing wrong with that.

Firefox 4 Beta 12 Makes Debut
After a day of Minecrafting and playing outside with my nephews and niece, I was surprised last night to find yet another Firefox 4 beta had been released. Firefox 4 – Beta 12 is now available for download. So what has changed since the last beta? The big fix this time around is when it comes to delivering better performance when watching online videos.
Firefox 4 Beta 10 Adds Stability

Firefox 4 Beta 10 has been released by Mozilla. This update, on the heels of the Beta 9 release, really only brings more stability to an already amazing new browser interface. The official release notes as far as changes go have been pretty sparse, but it seems stability is the big update this time around.
Google Shortener
Looking for an add-on that will let you use the Google link shortener (goo.gl) right from your right-click menu inside of Firefox? Google Shortener will get the job done. This simple little add-on for the Firefox browser simply gives you a browser-based front end to shorten your own links using the goo.gl link shortening service. Is there more under the hood though to this amazingly simple add-on?
RSS Support Changed in Firefox 4

One more change to come in Firefox 4 is the removal of the RSS icon in the browser’s Awesome Bar (aka the Address Bar). I am guessing this was done to reduce some of the clutter when it comes to the default look and feel of Firefox 4. The ability that made RSS feed so easy to subscribe to is not gone though. It has simply been bumped down to being an additional button you can add to the interface.
Right-click to Update Twitter and Facebook
Need to set a Facebook or Twitter Status message in a hurry? Statusus has you covered. This is a very simple Firefox add-on that allows you to quickly select any text on a website, right click and then set it up as your status message for the moment.
All-in-one Mozilla Labs Add-on

Want to make sure you keep up to date with the latest Mozilla Labs experiments? You can with one simple plugin. The Lab Kit plugin for Firefox will securely install add-ons that are being developed by the Mozilla Labs team. This way, you can stay up to date with some of the neatest innovations without having to remember to update or to check back for new experiments to try.
Rainbow: Firefox Audio / Video Recording
Mozilla Labs is up to reinventing how we use the browser, yet again. The latest innovation, Rainbow, will bring video and audio recording to Firefox. The Rainbow add-on for Firefox is a really early developer prototype that lets you see how easy it could be to capture audio and video using only a few lines of JavaScript.
Mixing Google Reader and Live Bookmarks

Want to have instant access to all the RSS feeds you have subscribed to, without having to login and check them out through Google Reader? You can do this by mixing Google Reader with Firefox’s Live Bookmark feature. Since Google Reader outputs your reading list in RSS – it is easy to create a place where you can keep up to date with the latest news, without even launch the Google Reader website.
Here is how you do it.
Live Bookmarks 101

Although the feature might not get as much love as others, the Live Bookmarks function of Firefox is one to be admired. Live Bookmarks can deliver you the most recent updates to you from any website, right in Firefox. This is done through the magic of RSS (really simple syndication) and the Firefox browser. So how can you set up a Live Bookmark and what exactly are they good for? Let me walk you through the process.
