Macfox II Graphite

Macfox II GraphiteOut of all the “macfox” themes, the Macfox II Graphite theme might be my favorite. It does not hit you over the head with an apple. It instead is a little more sneaky when it comes to changing the way your browser looks. The only thing I do not like about these Apple clone themes is that they get rid of the favicons. Now I rely on having my favicons in place, so I can’t use this theme. Maybe you can though!

Optimized Firefox 2.0 for Macs

An optimized build of Firefox 2 for G4, G5, and Intel Macs is out in the wild now. Not only do they have the builds ready for all the Mac owning Firefox fans, they also have a good list of add-ons available as well. That is the end of my Apple knowledge -since I am more of a Windows guy, but I couldn’t pass on the chance to share this with those who might not have my same choice in operating systems.

iPox Firefox Theme

ipox.jpgIt has been a while since a Firefox theme shot out at me with some originality. iPox is a Mozilla Firefox theme loosely based off an iPod and Apple GUI. Now I know what you are going to say, “Yeah, so is every other theme that comes out for Firefox!” but I promise, you should give this one a shot. This theme doesn’t slap you in the face with the common Apple look. Instead it really does something different, as far as Apple inspired themes go.

Attack of the Mac Themes

There are way too many Firefox themes out there that have that “mac” look or “mac” name. Now when looking for a Firefox theme that delivers a new look, this isn’t always the best thing to find. Since there are so many “macish” themes out there though, I figured I would point out a few of the better ones.
