Any Firefox user worth his weight in add-ons can block advertisements, using tools like AdBlock Plus but few can block the ads can replace them with something to give your Web browsing experience a little more class. How about replacing all those punch the monkey ads with art?
It this entices your cultural taste buds, then you might want to add the Add-Art extension to your own Firefox install. Add-Art replaces advertising images on web pages with contemporary art from a curated database. It is also worth making note of that the install is bundled with the AdBlockPlus extension.
Worried about seeing the same art too many time? The galleries are updated every two weeks and feature contemporary artists and curators. You can pickup the addon on Mozilla’s site or their official site, Add-Art.org.

Just call this stupid browser tricks Monday! Ever felt that need to turn your favorite photo you have on the Web into some ascii art?
With this Firefox extension from Photo2Text.com now you can. Now I am not going to pretend that anybody has a good reason to do this. There isn’t one darn good reason you can think of either - go ahead and try. Time to geek out, relax and transform your photos into a load of interesting characters.

I always hate this time of year because I wait till the last minute to find a new calendar.
I like to have a less than digital one so that I can write dates and important information on it. With time management, I am still a little behind the times old school. One set of calendars that caught my attention yesterday were these on and about Firefox.
Now you can promote Firefox all the new year long with this 2007 calendars created by yours truly. They are available as PDFs in A4 and Letter sizes in two colors: Dark and Fire. Hopefully, some more will come soon.
I have to say these are pretty neat and I might have to save one for myself.

So what if Firefox was a super hero and not a browser? Would it be able to leap over buildings in a single bound? Kill popups with it’s “lasso of truth”? Well, I might not know what the Firefox super hero might do - but I do have a good idea of what he might look like.
The thing that I love most at Firefox community marketing is viewing the galleries. You can share your photos. To me, that is the fun part. Here are a few of my pictures. The first picture is a Firefox superhero.
The second picture is about Mozilla’s Thunderbird Email at mozilla.com. The last picture is a Firefox ring. I used a 3d figure design software to create most of my pictures. I love art!
Very interesting indeed. What are your thoughts on the Firefox super hero?
