Now you can easily take control over all things YouTube! Tube Enhancer Plus is a great add-on for Firefox that gives you a lot of more tools to use while surfing YouTube. It adds a button under almost all the YouTube videos, the channels, and the playlists. It also adds a button to your browser, on the right side of the search-field, that allows you to open the sidebar without the need to go on YouTube to do it. If the location does not suit you, you can move this button anywhere you want.

Have you been searching for something to enhance your YouTube experience? Maybe you want to download the videos you watch. Maybe you want to convert videos to MP3s or automatically watch videos in HD. I have found a Firefox add-on that will let you do that and a lot more in TweakTube. This is by far the most in-depth “all in one” YouTube extension out there for the Firefox browser.
Once TweakTube has been installed, you can access it from Tools > YouTube – Options in the Firefox menu bar. Once inside, here are some of the general options you can tweak around with:
Most people might not consider Firefox to be much of a jukebox, however it does know how to “get down with it’s bad self” with the right selection of extensions. Here are seven of the most popular audio related add-ons for Firefox.
Online Music Player – It is a music player in status-bar. It provides Firefox with ability to play online mp3 music(local file as well), to search and display the lyrics automatically, as well as to manage the music lists.
Fire.fm – Winner of the Extend Firefox 3 contest, Fire.fm is your direct access to the extensive music library on Last.fm. Listen to music related to your favorite artist, and discover new artists and music in the process.
Stop Autoplay – Disable the autoplay of the embedded music and movie.
FoxyTunes – Do you listen to Music while surfing the Web? FoxyTunes lets you control almost any media player and find lyrics, covers, videos, bios and much more with a click right from your browser.
TwittyTunes – Allows to post your currently playing songs to Twitter with a click. As a bonus, you can also post the web sites you’re visiting, videos you’re watching and more!
Music Player Minion – Music Player Minion is a client for the Music Player Daemon network music player. The purpose of MPD and it’s clients is to allow music playback on one PC (such as a home media server) to be controlled from another over the network.
Amazing Media Browser – Amazing Media Browser automatically searches for all embed objects in a web site and shows you a list of the source links. You can then conveniently browse through each link to see the content of the source file.
Is there another speaker-loving extension I might have missed? Which one of these would be your personal recommendation? Let me know in the comments, and I’ll be sure to get it on the list.
I really hate when music or movies start up on a Web site when I did not ask them to. It is rude for my browser to think I want to listen to or watch this stuff without asking first. Well, I have a Firefox extension that will teach your browser some manners.
The Stop Autoplay extension for Firefox disable the autoplay of the embedded music and movie (mp3, wma, wmv, avi, mpg, and more). Are you locked out of hearing or seeing it then? No! The users can press the play button of the controller to play it. Now this is the way the Web was suppose to be.
