Barlesque is a Firefox 4+ extension that will do the job.  Once installed, make sure you have the Add-on Bar turned on (by going to View > Toolbars > Add-on Bar under the Firefox button).  You should then see that the Add-on Bar is no longer across the bottom of the window.  It is now collapsed into the corner of the screen.  This way the add-on bar will only take up a fraction of your overall screen real estate.

You have the option to place the icons from the Add-on Bar either to the bottom left or bottom right parts of the screen too.

You can pick up Barlesque from the Mozilla Add-ons website.

You can customize how much space you want to save with the options across the bottom (by making the menu a toolbar or a drop down menu).  You also have the option of a horizontal or vertical menu.  You can then right-click on your toolbar, go to “Customize” and then drag and drop the GButts Toolbar you created on to your toolbar layout – anywhere you might need it.

If you are a heavy Google user – the GButts add-on should be right up your alley.

This simple change adds functionality back to the toolbar.  The extension also works with mouse gestures and and by configuring the back button on your mouse (if you have one) to the Alt + Left Arrow keyboard combination.  Users can also decide whether to show the toolbar icon via the options button in the add-on manager.

There are a few requirements, such as getting your own unique UUID, giving TwisterMc some credit, and coming up with something original – but those are easily done in exchange for the knowledge you will be receiving.

This is to save you toolbar space, plain and simple.  To avoid unintended reloads, the button is disabled for a split second when a page has finished loading.

For those of you who might have the Stylish extension installed, you have a few more options when it comes to combining the stop and reload buttons.  Pick up the Stylish add-on then try these user styles out:

• Combine Stop/Reload Buttons
• Combined Stop, Refresh, and Throbber Buttons
• Smartly Show Stop and Reload Buttons

I like anything that helps me remove the browser clutter, so take your pick out of these suggestions – and if you have anymore, feel free to leave a comment and suggest!

The events you can assign an action to are:

• Double clicking
• Clicking with middle mouse button
• Left clicking with control-key (or meta-key on Mac) pressed

• Reload all tabs

This is no doubt that Tab Clicking Options makes it easier to work with your tabs in a number of different ways.  Also, because I know somebody will bring it up – Tab Mix Plus will also do a lot of these same things too. So if you want an alternative – there you go.  (via Download Squad)

Bonus: Via Twanno’s Firefox extensions page you can also pick up his Duplicate Tab add-on for the browser.  It allows you to clone a tab along with its history.

The Kempelton Large theme for Firefox delivers in the big button department for sure. You can still get a little ‘bit smaller icons if you go with the ‘Use Small Icons’ option when using this theme. Use the standard Kempelton theme instead if you want a more typical icon size.

With the new default theme for Firefox 2 there is not a ’simple’ way to remove the ‘Go’ Button from the navigation toolbar. I never used the go button since I simply press enter after I type in address. This will make your address box a little bigger as well. There a couple ways you can remove the Go Button either via about:config or modifying your userChrome.css file.

What do you need to do? Well just type “about:config” and scroll down till you see this:
