Happy Birthday Firefox Facts!

Today is a special day, because it marks the 4 year anniversary of the start of Firefox Facts.  Starting 4 years ago as a spin-off project related to the e-book and Firefox articles I had been writing for Lockergnome, Firefox Facts has expanded by leaps and bounds, and thankfully has drawn in a fan following of it’s own over the years.

I won’t go on and on about it though.  I just wanted to mark this special occasion and thank you for making this web site the success that it is today.  As long as you keep reading, I promise to keep pumping out as much content as I can to all my projects, including Mitchelaneous and the Web Hosting Show too.  Want to give Firefox Facts a birthday present?

Go share the RSS feed with a friend, family member or your own cult following.

Want to Build Your Own Giant Firefox-bot?

How would you like to have your own huge Firefox-bot in your own backyard?

Better yet, what does it take to build a giant tribute to the promotional art for Firefox 3?  From the looks of it, a lot of aluminum foil, some social networking and a lot of love.  Just make sure you don’t get too close to the ice cream.

We got setup in the park at 2pm and the sun was shining. We made sure to have enough robot building fuel ie pizza, and sangria to keep everyone running. We also had a friend from a chemistry department bring dry ice and liquid nitrogen, which we used for special effects and to make cryogenic Firefox icecream (carrot and blueberry, a flavor we made up).
