There are a lot of Firefox features that don’t get much press, or are quickly forgotten about. For example, did you know that you could switch to using Gmail or Yahoo! Mail as your default mail client (to handle those mailto links)?
To chance your settings, go to Tools, Options and then click on the Applications tab. From there, type “mail” into the text box to go to the default mail handler settings. From the drop down box, you should get [...]
To get to the Applications menu, you’ll want to go to Tools in the menu toolbar, then Options, then click on the Applications tab.
From here you can change just about any way that Firefox relates to any other file, application or task out there. Here are a few things I did to speed up my browser usage.
ARCHIVES: For archives (like .zip, .rar, ect) I set the action to “Save File”, that way I can skip Firefox asking me if [...]
Firefox 3.5’s new tab button has already been established as a feature some people like and some people could do without. However, what if you could tweak it visually to meet your needs? That is what some people have done, and here are the eight most popular new tab button hacks out there today.

Gina is at it again with one of those “Better” Firefox extensions. This time around she tackles Google Calendar. As a big user of the other extensions she has released (plus I use Google Calendar too) I couldn’t pass up on the chance to try this one out.
The Better GCal extension for Firefox wraps some of the best Greasemonkey scripts into one easy to install extension. Editing the options of the extension allows you to also turn [...]

With Firefox 2 you are given a close “x” on each tab – instead of having it all the way over at the right hand side of the browser. If this really bugs you or you want to edit around with it – I have found the perfect tweak for you.
