The CRSG-extension for default Firefox theme enables combined “Reload-Stop-Go”-buttons old GUI (on urlbar) like it was on Firefox 4-8. It does not create a new button! So if you miss the way you used to have a stop, go and reload button in the address bar – check this add-on out.
Miss the old bookmark button in Firefox? This add-on restores bookmarks menu known from older Firefox versions. Rather than the star and menu, you get the good ‘ol icon labeled, “Bookmarks” with a sleeker drop down box.
Classic Style for Favicons is a very neat extension for the browser. This add-on for Firefox puts the favicon in the URL Bar and restores the old favicon behavior with secure sites identity background colors. Optionally doesn’t show the Tab Bar when only one tab is open.
It makes me sad that my soon to be step son will live without ever knowing what Netscape was. If you are feeling nostalgic for the classic browser, you can pick up the N2Scape theme for Firefox.
While someday we may look back at the Firefox 4 layout and miss it too – some people out there are still missing the good ol’ Firefox 1.5 theme and layout for Firefox. If you want to recapture the magic of when you probably first tried the revolutionary Firefox web browser – then check out Winestripe Realfox 4.
Want to take Firefox 3 back to a simpler time? With the Winstripe Modernized theme for Firefox, you can make it look like Firefox 1.5.
There are a lot of people out there that still enjoy the “good ol’ days” of Firefox, and with this theme, you can re-live your memories while still getting all the benefits of the Firefox 3 upgrade. Personally, I like this theme icons at least, a lot more than I do the current Firefox default theme. Maybe I too am one of those who has an emotional bond with this previous version of the browser.
Oh how many hours we spent together, and long long nights. It seems like it was only yesterday I first glanced my eyes on your little house home icon.. thingy?

The tiny little theme we all know and love is now ready for Firefox 3. Classic Compact might be my favorite out of all the “Mini Me” themes out there for Firefox. Not only does it shrink the browser interface of Firefox but it also does so in a visually appealing way.
Not only do we get a theme to share though, we awesome have an add-on to help customize Classic Compact even more. The rightfully named Classic Compact Options extension gives you a little more control over the specific theme itself.
Options include: FF2 buttons; keyhole arrows; turning off gradient backgrounds; modifying borders; OS scrollbars; dark system color support; merging menu bar into one menu button; etc.
So if your already growing tired of the default Firefox 3 theme, might give Classic Compact a shot.
Feel like you need a more traditional looking Firefox interface, but still don’t want the ugly mess that some Firefox themes out there deliver? For tradition, style and class I direct your attention to the CrystalFox Classic theme.
So you enjoy that good ol’ theme from Firefox versions past, with a touch up here and there?
You need to pick up Winstripe Modern then. I don’t know what it is, but something just feels right about this theme. It works for me on a visual sense, and is still one of my top ten favorite themes. You might check the previews to get a closer look at the interface – but you know it, you love it – so why don’t you have it?
