The features to love here are plentiful. You can dynamically, show bookmarks by using folder and search terms.  Highlight the bookmarks in any color you would like, sort the bookmarks by name, visit time, last visited and most visited, and a lot more.

Incredible Bookmarks also help you clean house.  It can:

• Run a check to find out duplicate bookmarks in each Incredible Bookmarks toolbar.
• Run a check to check the links in each Incredible Bookmarks toolbar to see which links are no longer available.

This add-on for Firefox has incredible promise, and I could not find a feature I didn’t like.  My favorite overall feature is the ability to color code your bookmarks and bookmark folders.  I like to keep things neat, nice and organized – so this suits my needs, perfectly.

In turn, with this extra organization, you have better visualization and prioritizing for the pages you are navigating through.  Here are a few more details from the TooManyTabs developer:

Aero Fox – All black and blue, kind of like how I ended up after the last Internet Explorer 7 fan club meeting I attended.

NASA Night Launch – Want to shoot off to the stars?  Well you might not be able to go to space yourself, but why should you?  Bring space to you!

Aquatint Black Gloss – Another shinny black and blue theme with icons so glossy I can see myself in them.

PitchDark for Fx – It is so dark, it is pitch dark!  No wait a minute, isn’t that suppose to be pitch black?  Oh no wait a minute, there is the pun.

Just Black – Hey, it is just black – got it?  Nothing more to see here, keep moving along my Firefox flock of followers.

In The Dark – If you want something darker than pitch dark, then you need to go in the dark.  Somebody turned the lights out on my Firefox!

DarkVista – Represent the Microsoft friendly theme the way it was suppose to be done… with the back and forward reminding me more of Darth Vader’s helmet.

Gradient iCool - Hey, iCool… are uCool?  Black and blue again (seeing a repeating fashion here) but just different enough to keep it interesting.

Office 2007 Black - Enjoy the look of Office 2007, but want it black and as a Firefox 3 theme?  For all 6 of you out there – I give you this.

Full Flat Absolute Black – Simple 2-bit icons, black background and yeah, you can’t get any darker than this.

FavLoc (short for favorite location) will let you set certain folders as favorite locations to easily download files to.  For an example, lets say you subscribed to my podcast, the Web Hosting Show and you wanted to send all the mp3s you downloaded to your special podcast folder.  With this extension, you would just add your podcast folder as one of your favorite locations, then you have instant right-click and save access to it.  No more downloading and then sorting it all out later.

The FavLoc menus will appear on the File menu (for saving pages), the context menu (for saving images and links), and on the download prompt.  Sure there are other ways to go about this, but this one was put in place to save us all a little time.

The Mozilla team does a pretty good job at keeping their ear to the ground and tracking the best of the best extensions out there. Here are the five most popular extentions, according to the official web site.

Agree or disagree?

1. VideoDownloader – Alright, number one on the list does make sense to me because a lot of people like downloading the “cat gets caught in ceiling fan” video to show to friends and family without needing to visit the (insert your favorite video web site here) link again and again.

2. Adblock Plus – Yet another obvious or “duh!” selection for the list. A few Online ads are fine and dandy. Heck I have them because I have to make a living somehow. (not a guilt trip, just a reminder) Other ads are dangerous or just out right annoying. This does a fine job at ditching those.

3. Download Statusbar – I have been using this one since almost day one. I do a lot of downloading – and I think having the download box with the status pop up at me is just a little annoying. This fixes that.

4. NoScript – Kind of surprised to see this one so high on the list. NoScript allows JavaScript, Java and other executable content to run only from trusted domains of your choice which keeps the good guys in and the bad guys out.

5. Greasemonkey – Come on, everybody loves Greasemonkey! This extension allows you to add functionality to both Firefox and web sites you browse. Check out our Greasemonkey tip archive for a lot of good suggestion on what you can do with it after you get it installed.

So with that said, what is going to be the next “big favorite” that everybody is going to be sure to install next time the open up our favorite browser of choice?

After being kind of disappointed the first time around, I do have to say that I am becoming a little more hooked on the idea now. The whole process is easier, but there was just something missing from the interface.

I needed favicons on these links!

Well, I had a look around and I hunted down a Greasemonkey script that did the job. This script, fav.icio.us2, does one simple job and it does it well. It adds favicons to all the links you see that have been saved to del.icio.us.

Now all I need is more time to save all my favorite links.
