Time to dig through the newest Firefox themes to see what treasures we can find.  Today’s selection comes in three different flavors, green, purple and black and is known simply as LavaFox.

Now I have mentioned before that is is really hard to make a usable dark Firefox theme, but I think LavaFox does a great job at getting the job done.  It doesn’t seem too dark – and is still really usable and great to look at.  The sleek black interface will look great on any Windows 7 or Windows Vista desktop too.

Just about every aspect of the skin is themed too – which is nice to see that they paid that much attention to the details.  Want to give them a shot?

Today I have for you three themes based on the ideas and icons behind the Gnome Colors project.  What is that? The Gnome Colors project really aims at making the Gnome desktop as elegant, colorful and consistent as possible.

So can these three themes, each accented with their own color stand up to the rest of the Firefox themes out there?  I will let you decide.

Which is your favorite Chrome-like theme for Firefox?  Eventually, we will probably see more Chrome inspired themes, than Apple ones – then again, there are an awful lot of those Mac-looking themes out there, so perhaps it might be longer than we think.  However here you have five great looking Chrome inspired themes to decorate your own Firefox browser with. 

Made for green ecology enthusiasts, I have to give this theme for Firefox major props for trying to do something original, and also something with a message behind it.

The Go Green theme (which is just fun to say) is for Windows only, and can be downloaded from the Mozilla add-ons web site.

The theme is based off the look and feel of the web site DeviantART – and pulls off it’s style very well.  One place where some might have problems is the icons are a little jagged – because, they are on DeviantART’s web site too.  As the author says, “Toolbar icons are in the DA .gif emoticon styles, jagged edges on purpose, so please don’t complain about that.”

Now, nobody can deny that all three of these themes are unique in their own way.  If you are looking for a set of themes that are different from the rest, you have stumbled upon the right review.  Personally I am not a big fan of the Las Vegas neon light look and feel – but hey, who am I to judge.

So cheers to the “Glowy” series, and for making the PimpZilla theme almost look boring with it’s over to the top antics.
