Plant Google Reader in Your Sidebar

Google Reader in Your Firefox Sidebar

Time for another one of those awesome, put “insert web site here” in the Firefox sidebar tips.  This time around, it is the Google Reader iPhone version we are going goofy about.  Open up this link here:

http://www.google.com/reader/i/

After doing so, drag it to your links bar or bookmark it.  Then right-click the bookmark, and select the Load this bookmark in the sidebar checkbox.  Now save and your good to go.

Gspace – Storage Space from Gmail

There are a lot of good Online backup Web sites out there today. Since Gmail first hit the scene though, people have been trying to use it to have a little extra storage space on their computers. Now there is yet another tool that helps you manage this process and your files in the Firefox extension, Gspace.

This extension allows you to use your Gmail Space (2.8 GB and growing) for file storage. It acts as an online drive, so you can upload files from your hard drive and access them from every Internet capable system. The interface will make your Gmail account look like a FTP host.

Out of all the “lets use Gmail for backup” tools out there, this one is the best that I have seen thus far.
