bLaugh looks better in Firefox. In fact, we’ve gone out of our way to optimize our GIFs for Firefox. Everybody knows that graphics render themselves better in Firefox. Internet Explorer makes images look like graphics, whereas Firefox makes images look more image-like. We think Firefox is teh shiz.

It is a question I am sure you have asked yourself at least once.
Recently, I have been pondering why is Firefox so darn popular? This is a question that I honestly ask myself sometimes, often while browsing the web from within the browser itself. The real trick is that there are so many different ways to answer this.
I always like to see interesting views from both sides of the fence. In my own opinion, I think a lot of folks haven’t switch from Internet Explorer to Firefox because they just don’t see the reasons for it. They both surf the same Web right? Well, over at H3RALD.com they have an interesting article covering an IE lover’s view of the Firefox browser.
CNET has put together it’s own battle of the browser wars. With insights on Internet Explorer beta 2, Firefox 2 alpha 1 and Opera 9 beta 1, who will come out the winner? I’m not too sure if I agree with the outcome, but there is a lot of good side by side comparisons here you should check out.
I know the first thought that comes to mind is, why would you want to?” but there are some good reasons. Maybe you could sneak Firefox onto somebody’s system (for their own protection, of course) using this series of tips, extensions and themes? Maybe you really like the Internet Explorer interface?

For those folks out there that are looking for another way to flip between browsers, I introduce you to Optool. I found this tool via Chris, and I do have to say for coming in such a small package (112 KB to be exact) it packs a lot of punch. You can switch between Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Opera by default.
You can plug your own browser into the mix, if it isn’t one of the big three. It is yet another good way to do a little quick browser switching.
