Better Interface for Gmail
Combine Search and Address Boxes
For all the things that the most recent versions of Firefox have done for simplifying the interface, why do we still need to have a separate box for searches? If you are like me and are needing a way to simplify the browser even more – try out Instantfox.
Make Your Active Tab Bigger
One thing that sort of bugs me about Firefox is there is no real way to tell the difference between your active tab and your non-active tabs, other than a slight change in the background color. The User Style, FF3+ Increase active tab minimum width, will allow you to increase the minimum width of the active tab to make it stand out a little more.
Shrink the Firefox 4 Add-on Bar
If there was one thing I could say about the new Firefox 4 layout and design, it would be that minimal is the new black. It seems that moving forward we are going to get less and less user interface. So, to help follow that eventual trend in design – let us go ahead and shrink the new Add-on Bar down some with Barlesque.
Firefox 4 UI Fixer
If yesterday I showed you a small fix to a small problem in Firefox 4, today I am just throwing the kitchen sink at you. The Firefox 4 UI Fixer is a pretty self explanatory add-on for Firefox. It allows you to tweak various setting that have been changed between Firefox 3.5 to Firefox 4.
Move That Firefox Button!
Diving back into the world of customizing Firefox 4 to suit our needs, some people have complained about the new Firefox button and not being able to move or change it. Sure, it is just living up there at the top of the window – minding it’s own business. I say we need to find him a new home though, and thankfully we can with the Movable Firefox Button add-on for Firefox.

Colorful Firefox Tabs

Need help distinguishing which tab is which in Firefox? OK, maybe telling where one tab ends and another begins really is not that hard. However, it would help if each tab was colored. ColorfulTabs, one of my favorite add-ons for the Firefox browser – does that with style.
Turn Firefox in Glass, Sorta

For those of you using Windows 7 or Windows Vista, you probably have already noticed that by default, Firefox does not have the cool glass effect that some of your other programs might have. You can make Firefox a little more transparent though, with the Glasser add-on.
Minimalist Facebook

Want to give Facebook a more minimalist look and feel? If so, I have found the perfect Greasemonkey script for you to install and use. The simply named, Minimalist Facebook userscript removes several annoying (and space wasting) features of the Facebook website.
