Learn Firefox is what it is called and I have to say it has an impressive list of resources, help and videos to get you going with the Mozilla browser.

You can scroll down the list to see what they have covered thus far – and I am sure they’d be open to suggestions if you have any to share. I’ve been a big fan of what Ryan has been able to do with the CyberNet News Web site – so it is no surprise to see him behind this excellent resource. Funny enough I started reading CyberNet News after it got banned from digg many moons ago.

Out of all the video downloading tools I have seen this one might have the best interface of them all.

As you can see, it gives you a button on your toolbar to click on and get direct access to downloading. This is something I have wanted to see for a long time. It also works with YouTube, MySpace, Google videos, DailyMotion, Porkolt, iFilm and others.

It is rude for my browser to think I want to listen to or watch this stuff without asking first. Well, I have a Firefox extension that will teach your browser some manners.

The Stop Autoplay extension for Firefox disable the autoplay of the embedded music and movie (mp3, wma, wmv, avi, mpg, and more). Are you locked out of hearing or seeing it then? No! The users can press the play button of the controller to play it. Now this is the way the Web was suppose to be.

The extension is called, Video Downloader. The only catch I can find is that it has to be one of the video services they support. The good news is they support about two dozen (including MySpace, Google Video, YouTube, iFilm and more). Well worth the download if you find yourself wanting to save a lot of media from the Web.

The project is to “create a 30-second ad, in any style (live action or animated,) that brings Firefox to life for the millions of Web users who have yet to discover Firefox and the better Web experience it delivers.”

My suggestion for you? Go watch “Wheee!”, it is my favorite so far.
