Mozilla Patches Firefox

Have you updated your version of Firefox yet?

Mozilla Corp. Thursday updated its Firefox browser to fix 7 flaws, including 4 pegged by the open-source developer as “Critical.” Of the four critical vulnerabilities patched in Firefox 1.5.0.7, none are currently being exploited, Mozilla said in detailed descriptions of each fixed flaw. In fact, Mozilla said in several of the descriptions that it was not sure whether the specific vulnerabilities could be exploited, but had issued patches just in case.

Security and Privacy Firefox Extensions

The folks over at CyberNotes have put together a list of some of the top Firefox security and privacy extensions you can get. If you are overly paranoid, I would say get them all. Getting all of them would probably also mean that you must wash your hands 523 times a day too. Some of these are good, some of them are great and some of them you can probably live without.

Useful Security Extensions for Firefox

There are a lot of Firefox extensions out there that make your browsing experience a whole heck of a lot safer. Do you know what each one does and how it protects you? Sure you could go find them all yourself and do your homework. That would be the hard way around things.
