Rein, which in German means “pure”, is one of the best looking simple themes I have seen in a while. Usually the more colorful themes catch my eye the most but this one is well worth checking into.
Here is a screenshot of this awesome monochrome flavored theme:
You could definitely say this theme was offbeat and a ‘bit different for sure. You can pick up the Rein theme for Firefox 3 and up over at the Firefox Add-ons web site. Also, when your there scroll down to the “advanced details” section for a few more tweaks of your own you can add to this elegant skin for Firefox.

TwisterMC’s easy on the eyes Firefox theme is now ready for download if your using Firefox 3. The iPox theme has always been a favorite of mine, due to it being very unique and different. Definitely considered a classic if there ever was one.
You can pick it up at the Firefox Add-ons site and be sure to stop by TwisterMC’s bug squashier if you notice any bugs or problems.

Maybe your not a RSS feed junkie like I am, but you do like to do some occasional headline tracking from time to time. Simple RSS Reader might be the extension for you, as it does exactly what you would think. It is a simple little RSS reader (minus the geeky complications).
The hardest part about Simple RSS Reader is adding the RSS feeds. Just click on the blue RSS icon and give a name and URL to each. That is it. The thing I like most about this add-on is the fast forward, rewind, pause, stop and play options for the ticker you get at the top.
You have your headline or link at the left, your source in the middle and then your controls on the far right. An entire feed reader all in one toolbar. It also has a very small memory footprint, so if you are staying away from add-ons that eat up too much of your RAM you have no need to worry about the Simple RSS Reader. It might be the best of the RSS news ticker extensions.
You can pick it up at the official web site or the Firefox Add-ons site. Oh and if you need an RSS feed to start your collection with, I have a great one for you: http://feeds.feedburner.com/firefoxfacts (shameless plug I know…)

Need to jot something down real quick before you forget, and don’t want to be bothered launching another web site or program to do it? The Really Simple Notepad bookmarklet is just what the forgetful web user needs.
Just drag and drop this link to your bookmarks toolbar:
Really Simple Notepad
Now when you need it, hit the bookmarklet link and up will come a popup window where you can type. The fun doesn’t stop there though. If you want to save what you have put in, just hit Ctrl+S to bring up the “Save As” menu. Make sure you set it to save as a text file and you have a simple backup of what you just wrote.
Thanks goes out to 7 is 7 for providing this hidden browser treasure.

Kozakura Inko has done a great job at porting both of these stylish themes over to Firefox 3, wouldn’t you say? If you enjoy simple and rounded off squares - these two themes are the best you can get.

Every day it seems as if we are getting more theme jewels back for Firefox 3 that we previously had on Firefox 2. One of the most popular out there of all the Firefox themes would be the Phoenity series which is now back for Firefox 3 with Phoenity Reborn.

As you can see - it does sport the new Firefox 3 keyhole backwards and forwards as well as some of your other favorite icons from the series. Totally ready for all the new enhancements for Firefox 3 this is one theme you can’t miss out on if you are trying out RC1 (and up) of the browser.
You can download Phoenity Reborn from the Mozilla Add-ons web site.

Simple, yet different the hmmXP theme makes a perfect companion for Firefox.

No huge distractions here. It is simple, lightweight but still gives you that visual refresh you might be looking for when changing your Firefox theme around. The light blueish-purple is a welcome too as it is all very pleasing to the eye. Mix that with the hint of green and the theme - it is delicious. I would lick it if I could, but I have a feeling my monitor wouldn’t like that too much.
