myFirefox – IE7 Theme for Firefox

Now if the Looks Familiar theme makes Firefox look more like Internet Explorer 6, then what does my Firefox do? It makes your Firefox experience a little more like Internet Explorer 7.

There is no reason you shouldn’t like the IE7 theme, even if you are the biggest Firefox fan in the world. Don’t hate the player, hate the game. Now you can have the slick interface of Internet Explorer 7 with your favorite Mozilla browser under the hood. Some might say it is the best of both worlds.

Clean and Familiar Firefox Theme

Kemplton is definately a clean and familiar Firefox theme.

I have been using it on my notebook PC for a while now, and I can not say I have any real complaints. A lot of the icons and navigation of it look much like the standard themes you see out there. It might not re-invent the wheel, but it is easy on the eyes.

Give it a shot and let me know your own thoughts on it.

Different Flavors of the Default Firefox Theme

Julien promised me that there would be more Cylence themes to come, and I was not disappointed to see them pop up on Mozilla’s Web site a few days ago.

Here is the list thus far:

Cylence Theme
Cylence Theme : Diamond Variation
Cylence Theme : Sapphire Variation
Cylence Theme : Ruby Variation
Cylence Theme : Obsidian Variation

For those of you who do not know, the Cylence themes are a different variation of the default Firefox theme. They provide a polished look, tinted with at least one color for good measure.

Only question I have is where is my emerald theme? :)

Saphir Cylence Theme for Firefox

When I saw the first Cylence theme for Firefox, I was in love. It was the basic default Firefox theme, but in a cool and dark exterior. It make my browsing experience look even slicker than it already was.

There is a new one out now, and it has a more “purple” feeling to it. The new Saphir Variation of the Cylence theme is a thing of beauty. They took what worked in the first one and added a new color to the mix – plain and simple.

What is next? Personally I would like to see an “emerald” version.

Firefox Holiday Themes

With Christmas just around the corner, there is no time like the present to go ahead and switch your default theme over for Firefox to something a little more “in the holiday spirit”. X-Mas (Light) theme for Firefox is another not so tacky solution to this seasonal theming problem.

This Theme makes your Browser suitable for the Christmas Time including Snowflakes, animated Toolbar Icons (Present, Fir Tree, Smoking Chimney), Fairy Lights as Scrollbars and many more.

Are there others out there to choose from? Well I have only found one other holiday theme for the Firefox browser that I really like. So there you have it, two holiday themes for the price of one. Now you have no good reason not to get festive!

How To Make Firefox Look Like IE

Now I don’t know why you would want to do it, but it is possible.

We all know someone that is just a little too comfortable with that blue “e” but maybe there is something we can do about it. People love to use themes for Firefox and you will be able to use them to make it look like an entirely different browser. You can tell from the screenshots just how realistic it looks in both the Luna theme and the Classic Windows theme. I know plenty of people that would not be able to tell a difference.

Maybe this is the way you trick those family members that are scared of Firefox into using the better browser?

Firefox Themes at deviantART

Some people think that the Mozilla Update Web site is the only place where you can find really neat Firefox themes. Well, I hate to burst any bubbles, but there are a few more places Online that provide them as well.

One of my favorite places to search for new themes is deviantART. They have a wide selection of Firefox themes for you to choose from. Some of them you might have seen before, but most of them you probably haven’t seen.
