Social networking is what the world is all about these days. If you launch anything that doesn’t have a social networking aspect to it, you are so back in 1999. Digg This! Firefox Extension
Due to how popular Digg is, you would think there would be more Firefox extensions related to it. I just have not seen too many become too popular. The Digg This! Firefox extension hopes to change all that.
The Digg This! toolbar adds two buttons to your main Firefox toolbar and one menu. With the toolbar buttons you can quickly goto to Digg or Digg the page you are viewing. The menu allows you to goto your Digg profile or any of the top Digg categories.
If you do a lot of digging, then this extension is right for you.
Swarm Through the Web
Here is another neat way of watching what everybody else is browsing:
Swarm is a graphical map of hundreds of websites, all connecting to each other. It updates itself every second with where people are going and coming from. As sites become more popular, they move towards the center of the swarm and grow larger. Conversely, sites that lose traffic move away from the center and grow smaller.

2006 Netmite Communities
Social networks and Internet communities are becoming a big part of the life we live today. It seems like every other day there is a new one that pops up. Netmite says that they, “have turned any web page into a virtual community”. They also have a Firefox extension that helps you join in on the fun.
