Are you one of those who can hardly wait for the newest version of Firefox to be released? Well, I have found yet another theme that will at least help you pretend you are using it.
Give the experimental theme, Fx4 a shot. It will transform your browser to what has been pitched as the new look and feel for Firefox 4.
This inspirational theme, created for the Firefox browser, is one of the most attractive themes I have seen in some time. Designed with the idea in mind that simple/flat designs tend to be more appealing than overly decorated ones; Purity is ready to refresh your browsing experience.
The author of the theme notes that some of the theme is still a work in progress, as many of the dialog icons are from the stock Aero theme. However I have high hopes for this unique browser skin.
You can download and install the Purity theme for Firefox (Windows only) at the Firefox Add-ons web site.
As the author puts it, capturing the theme of the 80’s era spirit, Hexxya! for Firefox looks to be a really unique theme that is very easy on the eyes.
I really enjoy the simple icons and the softer use of colors in this theme for Firefox. It all just works together very well.
Here is more about the theme from the developer:
You might notice that random arrangements of icons will not work with this theme. You will need to play around in the Customize Toolbar settings to get the icons to fit together in a manner that works, or just follow the order used in the sample screen shots for the best results. The large version has more space between the icons and is more flexible to different arrangements.
If the style of this theme looks familiar, the author of the theme also brought Slickerfox into the world. The two don’t look exactly the same, but if you like one – I am willing to bet you will like the other.
Pick up the Hexxya! theme on the Firefox Add-ons web site.
Since the recent Facebook re-design, there are not many themes or skins out there that work with it. However, I have found one that is fully compatible and (for some) a much more pleasant viewing experience, the Vista Ultimate Skin for Facebook.

Vista Ultimate Skin for Facebook – Want to make Facebook look a ‘bit more Vista-like? This user style will give Facebook the look and feel of Windows Vista.
Also, if you want just the Vista-like taskbar inside of Facebook, you can pick up this user style.

For these two user styles to work, you have to have the Stylish extension for Firefox installed. Once you do, be sure to check out our entire archive of Stylish tweaks and tips. Also, if there are any Firefox Facts fans on Facebook, be sure to look me up and add me as a friend. Have any favorite user styles you like to use with Facebook to tweak the interface?
I have not spent much time with the NASA Night Launch theme for Firefox, but I did always wonder, why is it the most popular and downloaded theme for Firefox? Sure, it is a dark (and very nice looking theme), but what else is there to it? Well, if you do a little digging – you can find several guides on how to modify the NASA Night Launch theme to fit your own needs.
Here are a few example tips and tricks:
To use these tweaks and tips for yourself, all you need to do is download the NASA Night Launch theme from the Firefox Add-ons site – and get started.
Want to dress Firefox up to look like Google Chrome?
It is ok to look at other browser’s themes from time to time. That doesn’t mean your a cheater, it just means you like looking at new things every once in a while. Chromiefox is a coat of “chrome” for Firefox. Available for Windows, Linux and Mac OSX, this theme will bring you the look and feel of Chrome without having to switch browsers to get your fix.
Here are the other flavors of Chromiefox to check out, based on the OS you use:
As a word of warning, the author of the theme does say there are some compatibility issues with some third party add-ons. So that maybe something to keep in mind.
What about having your tabs on the very top of the browser like Google Chrome? You can get this desired effect via Userstyles.org (must also have the Stylish add-on installed). To pick up the experimental hack, go visit: http://userstyles.org/styles/10470 .
Want to get Firefox all black and blue without entering it into a no old bared street fight with Internet Explorer 7? (We all know who would win that one…) Well, you can with the Gradient iCool theme for Firefox.
I noticed the blog author was bragging about 4,000 downloads. Lets see if we can get him a few more thanks to FirefoxFacts.com.
The Gradient iCool theme is a dark theme based on Windows Media Player 11. It is also the successor of Ozone Black x Blue. To follow more information on it’s development, be sure to check out the official blog for it. If you want to pick it up and use it yourself, get it at the Firefox Add-ons web site.
Rein, which in German means “pure”, is one of the best looking simple themes I have seen in a while. Usually the more colorful themes catch my eye the most but this one is well worth checking into.
Here is a screenshot of this awesome monochrome flavored theme:
You could definitely say this theme was offbeat and a ‘bit different for sure. You can pick up the Rein theme for Firefox 3 and up over at the Firefox Add-ons web site. Also, when your there scroll down to the “advanced details” section for a few more tweaks of your own you can add to this elegant skin for Firefox.
So what happened to Curacau one and two I bet you are asking. I wish I had the answers. The third of this unknown trilogy if pretty slick looking though. Slick if you like that blue wood feeling.

It kind of makes me think of a house out by the lake. Why? I have no clue. I figured that would be a lot more interesting than the theme I found last week that made me want to cry. You see I only share with you the best of the best. Curacau 3 – welcome to that exclusive club.
