Internet Explorer 5 Theme for Firefox

Internet Explorer 5 Theme for Firefox

Missing the way Internet Explorer 5 looked on an old Mac? Well, this theme is a ‘bit of a throwback to another era.  The Internet Explorer 5 Mac theme lets you relive the glory days of another browser through Firefox. This theme is for Firefox 20 and further so check it out and let me know what you think of it.

Nautipolis

nautipolis review

The Nautripolis theme for Firefox is a blend of both new and old designs.  You get a mix of Areo and a mix of the Gnome art style too. In the past I have looked at this theme and didn’t really find it that functional – however, after giving it a second look I do have to say it is not that bad.

Make Facebook Better with SocialFixer

Fix FacebookI use Facebook a lot, both for work and for play – so if there is anything I can do to make my Facebook browsing experience better, I am all for it.  That is where SocialFixer comes into play.  This is a fantastic extension for Firefox that fixes tons of annoyances with Facebook.  You have full control over which ones you use and which ones you do not, so let me dive a little deeper into some of the tweaks you can make.

Firefox Doing Away With Themes?

Personas Are Now Themes?

I spend a lot of time on the Firefox Add-ons website. I enjoy looking for new themes and extensions to share with all of you.  However, I have noticed over the past couple of weeks – it seems like they have done some reorganizing of their content.

It appears Personas (what used to be known as Personas at least) are the new thing you see when you look for Firefox themes.  Then, they have bumped the older more complete themes (where buttons and everything else gets changed) to a new “Complete Themes” page.

Do you like this change? Let me know in the comments – would love to hear your opinions on this topic!

Make Firefox Look Like Maxthon 3

Would you like for Firefox to look a little more like Maxthon 3? Then look no further than the MX3 theme for Firefox.  This theme brings the look of the Maxthon browser to Mozilla.  I do have to say, although I have never really liked Maxthon for functionality – it does have  a pretty interface.

Shine Bright Skin

Shine Bright Skin for FirefoxLooking for a shinny new theme for Firefox? The Shine Bright Skin is definitely worth checking out. It gives your Firefox interface a much more polished and shinny look to it.  The toolbars all give the appearance of sticking out a ‘bit more than they really do (as if they were popping out at you) while the buttons stay the same or similar to the default Firefox theme.

FXChrome

I’ve mentioned the FXChrome theme for Firefox in the past, but I haven’t looked at it in a while.  They have moved away from being just another Google Chrome clone and have done some really interesting things worth checking out.  The default theme still has a great looking clean interface like the Google Chrome browser – but if you have the Stylish add-on – you can do a little more customization.

Rollback Firefox 4 Theme to Firefox 3

Miss the colorfulness of the old Firefox 3 theme? For those of you who think the new Firefox 4 theme is a little too vanilla or washed out – there is an option.  Go pick up the overly obvious named Firefox 3 theme for Firefox 4+.  This theme will return your browser to a more colorful time, where your toolbar buttons had some color – but still allows you to keep the sleek new design and features that Firefox 4 delivers.

Chrome Up Firefox 4

Firefox 4 really brought a new look and feel to the browser that was refreshing for me.  However, some people still like the overall look and feel of the Google Chrome browser more.  Well, now you can have the best of both worlds with the FXChrome theme for Firefox.
