Firefox 2′s Default Theme

I had this link passed to me via E-mail and I have to say things are looking really good. Once again Firefox blows the competition out of the water as far as user interfaces go. Think I don’t know what I am talking about? Go have a look for yourself and tell me I am wrong.

iPox Firefox Theme

ipox.jpgIt has been a while since a Firefox theme shot out at me with some originality. iPox is a Mozilla Firefox theme loosely based off an iPod and Apple GUI. Now I know what you are going to say, “Yeah, so is every other theme that comes out for Firefox!” but I promise, you should give this one a shot. This theme doesn’t slap you in the face with the common Apple look. Instead it really does something different, as far as Apple inspired themes go.

Flock Theme for Firefox

flowfoxrevisited.jpgDo you enjoy the theme of Flock, but don’t want to give up on your traditional Firefox browser just yet? If you find yourself in that camp, then you need Flofox Revisited. I do have to admit, that Flock’s default skin is pretty nice looking. Personally, I just didn’t ever get that into Flock as a dedicated browser though. So you know what? This theme is perfect for me.

Update Notifier

Why is it that Firefox can let you know when there is a new version of the browser available, but will not tell you when your themes or extensions need an update? This is one flaw in the Firefox system that I hope will be worked out over time.

Till that day in time comes though, I have a Firefox extension that will solve your problems. The Update Notifier extension will let you know when it is time to update all those neat extra features you have plugged into your browser.

I want to thank Joe (sorry, no URL mentioned) for sending this link in to me. Yes, they are back and more “macish” than ever! The attack is on, and I have a few more Firefox themes that look like they came from the land of Apple computers. Once again, none of these are my number one favorite. However, they are better than the ifox themes.

Make Firefox Look Like IE

I know the first thought that comes to mind is, why would you want to?” but there are some good reasons. Maybe you could sneak Firefox onto somebody’s system (for their own protection, of course) using this series of tips, extensions and themes? Maybe you really like the Internet Explorer interface?
