Another Mario Firefox Theme

another-mario-firefox-theme

Looks like somebody else has tried to put up a fresh new theme inspired by the local population of the Mushroom Kingdom.  You have Mario, Luigi and the rest of the gang here.  I have to say this is a beautiful piece of work.  Makes me so happy I could go bust brick with my head until I find a surprise.

There is a lot to love about this new Mario theme for Firefox.  For example:

Mario Icons Explained

This is not the first Mario inspired Firefox theme, there have been several others:

So you had better grab the MushroomKingdom theme before it gets taken down due to trademark concerns and Nintendo’s lawyers.  You can download the MushroomKingdom theme (while you can) via the Firefox Add-ons web site.  To check out more of the author’s Firefox theme work, check out his own site at savaden’s designs.

Mattahan Delivers a Different Firefox

The Mattahan theme for Firefox is in one word, different.  The very unique icons of Mattahan mixed with the browsing capabilities of (and overall awesomeness) Firefox make for an excellent mix-match of style and substance.

Recently featured on a list of the top themes you have never used before, Mattahan is one of the few on the list that are definitely new to me.  You can pick it up over at Deviant Art or the Firefox Add-ons web site.

The Secret of a Good Dark Theme for Firefox

heavencube I have said before, there are not many dark Firefox themes that I like that much.  Maybe I’m just too happy to enjoy the lights being turned out in the browser.  Heaven.Cube, a new theme for Firefox 3, might change my mind.  It has style.  It has darkness.  Best of all, (here is the secret!) it is very unique.

After using it for a while, you’ll get the feeling that your browser is almost glowing.  All the icons are shinny and bright.  Putting that against the dark background really makes them look good.  As far as what I’d like to see in the future, I could see all kinds of various colors being released (personally, I’d like to see a dark green and black one).

PimpZilla Theme for Firefox

PimpZillaPimpZilla is probably the best looking ugly theme I have ever seen created for Firefox. They have updated the style yet again – this time for Firefox 2. Oh yes, it is as unique as it has ever been.

Probably the most tacky & overdone piece of GUI design ever. Accept no less: Surf in style and browse like a king!

I would say that is an understatement for sure.

Black OldFactory Theme for Firefox

OldFactoryNow I am not going to call this theme ugly, I am instead going to use the word “unique”. It is very unique in the sense that I have yet to see another one like it. It is very different from the rest of the themes out there because it is very dark in nature. I also really enjoy the use of levers as buttons as well.

It might not be for everybody, but for those goth friends of yours – it might be right up their alley.
